We caught up with Allysia from incspaces Mount Street to find out a little bit more about her and her role running the office space in Manchester. Allysia is General Manager for the space at Mount Street which has flexible serviced offices, hot desking and virtual offices.

Who are you, and where are you from?

I’m a true Kiwi through and through. I love the outdoors and am always looking for the next adventure! Since arriving from New Zealand, I have spent most weekends out in the British countryside, exploring all the history and hiking spots in the UK.

What did you do before joining incspaces?

I have always been in leadership or management roles and enjoy being surrounded by people and working with them to achieve their personal goals. I’m passionate about curating community spaces and ensuring inclusivity for everyone involved.

Which centre are you based at, and what do you love about your city?

Mount Street, Manchester. I love how easy it is to get around central Manchester; the size of the city means you can always walk if needed. The tram transport links always offer a quick and easy commute out of the town if required.

What’s one thing you enjoy about your centre?

As cheesy as it seems, our community! Our clients at Mount Street always come in with a smile on their faces and are ready for a chat. Our centre is a home away from home, and the inclusive environment means you won’t ever be having a bad day for too long.

I’m a freelance artist who creates across a wide range of mediums, including stained glass/leadlight, costumes, murals, woodwork, painting, and anything else! I love sitting down with people to hear their ideas and bring them to life!

I enjoy learning new mediums and exploring how they can be used differently.
